I started the old website back in November 2010. In the three years it was on the web it totaled 5000 hits. Not very dynamic really! With the new website we start from scratch so I hope the stats will look better. To date 129 different people have made 175 visits from as far afield as China and Australia.
Thank you wherever you are!
For those of you that have a Twitter account (apologies to those of you who haven’t any idea what I’m talking about!) you can now follow the village news on the new website through your Twitter account. Just visit the new website and click on the floating blue ‘t’ icon.
I found this marcasite nodule on Milk Hill just below a badger sett. It weighs 416 grams. This the largest piece I have found to date. Have a look at this page to find out how it was formed – click here
We have been contacted by the All Cannings’ Gardeners. They heard that our own gardening group was no more and have invited us to join with their meetings.
They meet every second Wednesday of the month in the Village Hall at 8 pm.
Subscriptions are £10 per year and new members are very welcome.
You can get further details from Jenny King on 01672 851965.
